US/Bethesda & Canada/Ottawa: Colgate-Palmolive Company, a New York, New York establishment, and Colgate-Palmolive Canada Inc., a Toronto, Ontario establishment, recall an estimated total 4,956,000 bottles of Fabuloso branded Original Multi-Purpose Cleaner and Bleach products (approximately 4.9 million bottles in the US and approximately 56,000 bottles in Canada) from the American and Canadian marketplaces due to suspected Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Pseudomonas fluorescens bacterial contamination and consequential risks of infection, sepsis and pulmonary disease, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
