Italian Recipe Meat and Cheese Snack Tray Health Alert [US]

US FlagUS/Washington: The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (“FSIS”), a statutory regulatory and food safety authority, issues a Public Health Alert for certain ready-to-eat (“RTE”) Italian Recipe Meat and Cheese Snack Trays that contain Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) regulated Breadsticks.

These Breadsticks may have been recalled by their producer, Jag Specialty Foods, due to suspected cross-contact contamination and consequential undeclared Sesame, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-changing injury.
