Australia/Canberra: ALDI Stores, a Prestons, New South Wales establishment and subsidiary of German food conglomerate ALDI Süd recalls certain batch/lots of Ferrex 1200 W 16 L Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaners from the Australian marketplace due to suspected component overheating and consequential risks of electrical sparking, shock, burns, smoke inhalation and/or respiratory collapse, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
