The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports this recall pertains to battery-operated, “Winnie The Pooh” and Cart Musical Toys. According to the ACCC, the recalled Toys fail to comply with Australia Mandatory Standard for toys for children up to and including 36 months of age because the batteries are accessible without the use of a tool, or two independent movements of the battery compartment lid.

If children can open the battery compartment, they can gain access to the batteries inside. The batteries are classified as small parts, and therefore, present a potential choking hazard.
