US FlagUS/Silver Spring: Whole Foods Market, an Austin, Texas establishment and subsidiary of Seattle, Washington-based Amazon.com recalls certain batch/lots of Cahill branded Cheddar Porter Cheese and Cahill branded Whiskey Cheddar Cheese from the American marketplace and sold in 44 Whole Foods stores across 22 US states due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consequential risks of Gram-positive bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards, requiring immediate medical intervention.
