Decathlon Eye Gear Sunglasses Recall [Australia]

Australia/Canberra: Decathlon (Australia) Pty Ltd, a Tempe, New South Wales establishment, recalls various styles and colours of Sunglasses and Over Glasses due to the apparent failure to comply with Australia’s labelling requirements associated with the mandatory standard ‘Consumer Goods (Sunglasses and Fashion Spectacles) Safety Standard 2017’.

The missing labelling is required to identify the applicable lens category and relevant description, indicating the amount of UV radiation protection provided by the Glasses with consequential risk of serious and possible life-changing eye damage including possible temporary or permanent vision impairment and/or blindness, all serious health and safety hazards.
