Zao Wooden Teether Shape Recall [Australia]

Australia/Canberra: Zao & Co., an Australian online reseller, has recalled certain batch/lots of Wooden Teether Shapes due to suspected failure to comply with Australia’s mandatory standard ‘Consumer Protection Notice No. 14 of 2003 – Consumer Product Safety Standard: Toys for children up to and including 36 months of age’. Specifically, the Teether is smaller than the permitted dimensions specified under the regulation and could pose consequential risks of choking, oral injury, internal ingestion and GI tract laceration damage, all serious health and safety hazards.
