US/Silver Spring: Two Rivers Coffee, a South Plainfield, New Jersey establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Brooklyn Bean Peanut Butter Cups – Hot Cocoa, Pingo Peanut Butter Cookie Hot Chocolate and Cold Stone Peanut Butter Cup Perfection Peanut Butter Single Serve Hot Chocolate Pod K-Cups from the American marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Peanuts, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate K-Cup products are subject to this recall (in alphabetical order):

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.
These Brooklyn Bean Peanut Butter Cups – Hot Cocoa, Pingo Peanut Butter Cookie Hot Chocolate and Cold Stone Peanut Butter Cup Perfection Peanut Butter Single Serve Hot Chocolate Pod K-Cup products with the best-by dates ranging from January 2022 to December 2024 were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in all US states, although it is always possible these K-Cup products had wider distribution outside the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.
According to the FDA, Two Rivers Coffee has recalled certain batch/lots of Brooklyn Bean Peanut Butter Cups – Hot Cocoa, Pingo Peanut Butter Cookie Hot Chocolate and Cold Stone Peanut Butter Cup Perfection Peanut Butter Single Serve Hot Chocolate Pod K-Cup products from the American marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Peanuts. As a result of this reported defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled K-Cup products identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Brooklyn Bean Peanut Butter Cups, Pingo Peanut Butter Cookie Hot Chocolate and/or Cold Stone Peanut Butter Cup Perfection Peanut Butter Single Serve Hot Chocolate Pod products and could be allergic to their Peanut ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat Anaphylaxis.
