US/Silver Spring: Daiso California LLC, a La Mirada, California establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Matsunaga branded Mini Shiruko Sand Biscuits from the American marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Soy, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

Canada/Ottawa: Spirit Halloween Superstores LLC, an Egg Harbour Township New Jersey establishment, recalls an estimated 62 Police Uniform Costumes for Children from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected Lead chemical contamination and consequential risks to children of damage to the brain and nervous system, slowed growth and development, learning and behavior problems, hearing and speech problems, lower IQ, decreased ability to pay attention and underperformance in school. In adults, Lead poisoning can cause high blood pressure, joint and muscle pain, difficulties with memory or concentration, headache, abdominal pain, mood disorders, reduced sperm count and abnormal sperm, miscarriage, stillbirth and/or premature birth in pregnant women, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
