Canada/Ottawa: Leda Health Innovations Inc., doing business as NWD Products Inc., a Toronto, Ontario establishment, recalls an estimated 9,834 Mombella Mini Mushroom Soothing Teethers from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected failure to comply with Canada’s Pacifiers Regulations. Specifically, the guard or shield of the recalled Teethers can block the airway of the infant, posing risks of suffocation, choking and/or oral injury. If the guard breaks loose, it poses risks of internal ingestion, GI tract laceration damage, bowel obstruction and/or sepsis, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
