US/Washington: The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”), a Washington, DC-based statutory regulatory and product safety authority and Target Corporation, a Minneapolis, Minnesota establishment, recall an estimated 204,000 Pillowfort Weighted Children’s Blankets from the American marketplace due to suspected entrapment hazard and consequential risks of choking, asphyxiation, respiratory failure, cardiac system collapse and death, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
