US/Bethesda: JBR Solutions, a Metuchen, New Jersey establishment, recalls an estimated 51,750 Aduro Surge Protectors from the American marketplace due to suspected incorrect polarization and poorly soldered connections with consequential risks of burns, electric shock, smoke inhalation, respiratory failure, cardiac system collapse and/or property damage, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves all current Aduro Surge Wall Charging Tower Surge Protectors marketed, sold and delivered in the United States, as follows:
- Aduro Surge Wall Charging Tower Surge Protectors, equipped with twelve (12) outlets, dual USB ports and sold in white or black with the Aduro logo printed on the center front panel below the two USB ports, and a model designation of AHR-318 (SKU SRG-WT12O2U) or SS-Q1202 (SKU SRG-WT12O2UNV)
Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Surge Protectors can be found on the Web site listed above.
==> No barcodes, UPCs, manufacturing date codes, production dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.
According to the CPSC, the recalled Surge Protectors contain incorrect electrical polarization and poorly soldered connections. If these defects occur, they pose risks of burns, electric shock, smoke inhalation, respiratory failure and/or cardiac system collapse to people who utilize the product in a reasonable manner expected with its intended design and anticipated use
Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Aduro Surge Wall Charging Tower Surge Protectors, please do not use them. Instead, kindly contact JBR Solutions to receive a full refund. JBR Solutions is also contacting known (i.e., registered) purchasers directly.
