Logo - Australian Competition & Consumer Commission ("ACCC")According to the ACCC, Kaleidoscope Australasia Pty. has recalled certain batch/lots of Tender Leaf Sailaway Toy Boats from the Australian marketplace due to suspected component detachment and consequential risks of choking, oral injury, internal ingestion, GI tract laceration damage, bowel obstruction and/or sepsis.

This recall was initiated after it was reported that the ears may detach from the Bunny character included with this Toy and create a small part. If this defect occurs, the detached component poses a choking hazard for young children, posing risks of oral injury, internal ingestion, GI tract laceration damage, bowel obstruction and/or sepsis.

Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Tender Leaf Toys branded Children’s Sailaway Boat Toys, please do not use them nor let your child play with or near them. Instead, kindly remove the Bunny only and dispose of it and contact Kaleidoscope to organise a replacement character to be sent to you. Parents and/or other caregivers will need to provide Kaleidoscope with evidence that the Bunny character has been disposed of in household rubbish.
