UK/London: Eva Bold Ltd., a Leeds, West Yorkshire establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Eva Bold Black Onion Seed Keto Protein Bites and Eva Bold Rosemary & Pink Salt Keto Protein Bites from the British marketplace due to suspected mislabeling with consequential undeclared Sesame, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Protein Keto Snacks are subject to recall:

• Eva Bold Black Onion Seed Keto Protein Bites, sold in 30 gram packages; affected batch/lots: all best-before dates up to and including 04 October 2023
• Eva Bold Rosemary & Pink Salt Keto Protein Bites, sold in 30 gram packages; affected batch/lots: all best-before dates up to and including 01 September 2023

==> No item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, Eva Bold Ltd. has recalled certain batch/lots of Eva Bold Black Onion Seed Keto Protein Bites and Eva Bold Rosemary & Pink Salt Keto Protein Bites from the British marketplace due to suspected mislabeling with consequential undeclared Sesame. As a direct result of this suspected defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Protein Snacks identified above.

Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Protein Keto Snacks and could be allergic to their Sesame ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-9-9, your closest hospital A&E or emergency centre equipped to properly treat Anaphylaxis.
