Food Recall: Aprons Ready To Cook Meal for One Bacon-Cheddar Smothered Chicken

US FlagUS/Washington: The US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (“FSIS”), a statutory regulatory and food safety authority, warns against the consumption of certain batch/lots of Aprons Ready To Cook Meal for One Bacon-Cheddar Smothered Chicken from the American marketplace due to undeclared Egg, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

Additional information:
The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Chicken products are subject to this recall:

  • Aprons Ready To Cook Meal for One Bacon-Cheddar Smothered Chicken, sold in 12-ounce plastic wrapped metal containers with a use-by date of 9/21/2022.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

These Aprons Ready To Cook Meal for One Bacon-Cheddar Smothered Chicken were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in the US states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia, although it is always possible these food products had wider distribution within the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

According to the USDA, it has warned against the consumption of certain batch/lots of Aprons Ready To Cook Meal for One Bacon-Cheddar Smothered Chicken from the American marketplace due to undeclared Egg. As a direct result of this suspected defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Chicken products identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Aprons Ready To Cook Meal for One Bacon-Cheddar Smothered Chicken products and could be allergic to their Egg ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the distributor or wholesaler where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat Anaphylaxis.
