US FlagUS/Silver Spring: Van Law Food Products Inc., a subsidiary of Stir Foods, a portfolio company of Wind Point Partners, and a Fullerton, California establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Whole Foods Market 365 branded Organic Creamy Caesar Dressing from the American marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Soy and Wheat, both known allergens, sources of dietary intolerance and possible triggers of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Creamy Caesar Dressing products are subject to this recall:

  • Whole Foods Market 365 Organic Creamy Caesar Dressing, sold in 12-ounce glass bottles with a best-by date of 04/06/2023 and a UPC of 99482-49027

==> No item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Logo - Whole Food MarketThese Whole Foods Market 365 Organic Creamy Caesar Dressing were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in the produce or dairy departments of Whole Food Market Stores in the US states of Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin and Wyoming, although it is always possible these food products had wider distribution within the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

According to the FDA, Van Law Food Products Inc. has recalled certain batch/lots of Whole Foods Market 365 branded Organic Creamy Caesar Dressing from the American marketplace due to suspected mislabeling and consequential undeclared Soy and Wheat. As a result of this reported defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Creamy Caesar Dressing products identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Whole Foods Market 365 Organic Creamy Caesar Dressing and could be allergic to their Soy and/or Wheat ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat Anaphylaxis.
