Additional information:
Among the ninety-two (92) recalls the NHTSA announced in June came news of the following:

Logo - Ford Motor CompanyFord Motor Company (“Ford”), a Dearborn, Michigan establishment, has recalled an estimated 30,244 model year 2022 Ford Transit Vans marketed, sold and delivered in the United States.

Recall Category: Electrical System – Instrument Panel not illuminated in apparent contravention of US FMVSS 101

NHTSA Safety Notification 22V415000 reports the Instrument Panel Cluster may not properly illuminate Telltales or Gauges and the Speedometer and Tachometer pointers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 101, “Control and Displays,” and 102, “Trans Shift Lever Seq/Starter Interlock/Trans Braking Effect,” and 105, “Hydraulic and Electric Brake Systems,” and 208, “Occupant Crash Protection.”

According to the NHTSA, failure to illuminate the Cluster Display could render safety-related Telltales and Gauges unreadable, increasing the risk of a crash, motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) or other impact event with consequential serious injury and/or life-changing results.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat lacerations, concussions, bone fractures, amputation, central nervous system (“CNS”) damage and/or internal injuries.
