US/Bethesda & Canada/Ottawa: The Children’s Place, a Secaucus, New Jersey establishment, recalls an estimated total 11,400 Baby Boy Dino Rompers and Baby Boy Camo branded Children’s Rompers two-packs (approximately 10,850 in the US and approximately 550 in Canada) from the American and Canadian marketplaces due to reported component detachment and consequential risks of choking, oral injury, internal ingestion, GI tract laceration damage, bowel obstruction and/or sepsis, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain Baby Boy Dino Rompers and Baby Boy Camo Rompers in 2-packs, as follows:
- The Dino Romper is a blue short-sleeve romper made of 100 percent cotton jersey material featuring a dinosaur on the left chest and was sold in child sizes 0-3M, 3-6M, 6-9M, 9-12M, 12-18M and 18-24M. The Camo Romper Two-Pack was sold in child sizes 0-3M, 3-6M, 6-9M, 9-12M, 12-18M and 18-24M and contained one gray long-sleeve romper made of 100 percent cotton jersey in a camouflage print and one gray short-sleeve romper with black shoulders and sleeves.
- The Baby Boy Dino style number 3031536 can be found on a sewn-in, side-seam label inside the garment. The Baby Boy Camo Romper 2-Pack style number 3026902 can be found on a sewn-in, side-seam label inside the garment.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.
According to the CPSC, The Children’s Place has recalled an estimated total 11,400 Baby Boy Dino Rompers and Baby Boy Camo branded Children’s Rompers Two Packs due to reported component detachment.
In this case, the Metal Snaps on the Rompers can detach. If this defect occurs, it poses consequential risks of choking, oral injury, internal ingestion, GI tract laceration damage, bowel obstruction and/or sepsis. The firm has received two (2) reports of Snaps detaching from the rompers. No injuries have been reported.
Please note: this is a joint recall from the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) and Health Canada (“HCSC”).
Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Baby Boy Dino Rompers and Baby Boy Camo branded Children’s Rompers, please do not use it. Instead, kindly take the recalled Romper away from children and return the Rompers to any The Children’s Place store for a full refund. The company will send an e-mail notice to all customers who bought the product on the firm’s Web site with instructions on how to receive a full refund for the recalled products.
