According to Health Canada, Princess Auto has recalled an estimated 197 Multi-Function Emergency Tools from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected operational failure during an emergency.

In this case, the plastic threads on the Battery Compartment of this Multi-Function Emergency Tool were reportedly not properly moulded. This defect may cause the end with the Seat Belt Cutter to come off, preventing the Tool from being used correctly during an emergency in a reasonable manner expected and consistent with its intended design and anticipated use.

As of June 1, 2022, the company has received one (1) incident report with no injuries in Canada.
