Among the one hundred and four (104) recalls the NHTSA announced in May came news of the following:

Logo - Braxton Creek RVBraxton Creek RV (“Braxton”), a Shipshewana, Indiana establishment, is recalling certain 2022 Bushwhacker, Bushwhacker Plus and Free Solo Travel Trailers marketed, sold and delivered in the United States.

Recall Category: Equipment – Cracked LP Gas Quick Disconnect Fitting

NHTSA Safety Notification 22V318000 reports the Quick Disconnect Fittings in the LP Gas System may be cracked, causing a gas leak..

According to the NHTSA, a gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire, explosion, burns and/or smoke inhalation with consequential life-changing or life-ending results.

Proposed Remedy:
Authorized Braxton Creek Dealers will install a Plug in place of the Quick Disconnect, and replace the Quick Disconnect when available, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 16, 2022. Owners may contact Braxton Creek Customer Service at +1-260-768-7932 during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) for more information. No manufacturer’s designation was listed for this recall at press time.
