US FlagUS/Silver Spring: QueensMade Lemonade LLC, a Cincinnati, Ohio establishment, recalls all current Juice products, including all Lemonade Flavors, as well as its Ginger Turmeric Shots from the American marketplace due to possible adulteration and consequential risks of bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.

Additional information:
The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Juice products and Spice Shots are subject to this recall:

  • QueensMade branded Lemonade, sold in 16-ounce plastic bottles and 32-ounce plastic jugs
  • QueensMade branded Mixed Berry Lemonade, sold in 16-ounce plastic bottles
  • QueensMade branded Strawberry Lemonade, sold in 16-ounce plastic bottles and 32-ounce plastic jugs
  • QueensMade branded Mango Lemonade, sold in 16-ounce plastic bottles
  • QueensMade branded Munkfruit Lemonade, sold in 16-ounce plastic bottles and 32-ounce plastic jugs
  • Ginger Turmeric Shots

Please consult the photograph above for details of the Juice products and Spice Shots packaging, design and retail presentation.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

These Juice products and Spice Shots were known to be marketed, distributed and sold from various retail locations, restaurants and mobile food trucks throughout the Cincinnati area including the following:

  • Curb Master Food Truck
  • BP Oil Gas Station located at 6464 Winton Road, Cincinnati
  • Jo Jo Fish and Chicken located at 979 Hawthorne Avenue, Cincinnati
  • Supreme Styles Barber Shop located at 1569 Chase Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45223
  • Facebook online sales

It is always possible, however, that these beverage products had wider distribution within the state or country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

According to the FDA, QueensMade Lemonade has recalled all current Juice products, including all Lemonade Flavors as well as its Ginger Turmeric Shots from the American marketplace due to possible adulteration. Specifically, the products included in this recall are adulterated because they were reportedly produced without the benefit of inspection and the required safety parameters were not able to be verified.

As a result of this reported defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Juice products or Spice Shots identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Juice products and/or Spice Shots, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the beverages to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat bacterial poisonings.
