Canada/Ottawa: Triplenet Pricing Inc., a New Castle, Delaware establishment, recalls certain Baby Trend 3.0 Activity Walkers and Baby Trend 4.0 Activity Walkers from the Canadian marketplace due to the prohibition of sales of these products within Canada because of the associative risks of falls, laceration, concussion, bone fractures, central nervous system (“CNS”) injury and/or death.

Health Canada/Santé Canada (“HCSC”) reports the following Infant Activity Walkers are subject to this recall:

  • Baby Trend 3.0 Activity Walkers – Yellow Sprinkles, sold with a model number of WK14C34B
  • Baby Trend 4.0 Activity Walkers – Dino Buddies with model number of WK14C35C

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Infant Activity Walkers can be found on the Web site above.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, manufacturing date codes, production dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

These Triplenet Pricing Baby Trend Activity Walkers may have been marketed, distributed and sold in all Canadian provinces, although it is always possible these assistive products had wider distribution within the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

According to Health Canada, Triplenet Pricing has recalled certain Baby Trend 3.0 Activity Walkers and Baby Trend 4.0 Activity Walkers from the Canadian marketplace due to the prohibition of sales of these products within Canada.

The recalled Baby Walkers are banned in Canada due because they pose an injury hazard to children who utilize the product in a reasonable manner expected with its intended design and anticipated use.

Specifically, children in Baby Walkers can be exposed to hazards that would not normally be accessible if the child were not supported by the Walker, posing a variety of risks of injury to the child. Children in Baby Walkers can also fall down the stairs, which could result in serious, life-changing injury or death.

Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Triplenet Pricing Baby Trend Activity Walkers, please do not use them. Instead, kindly contact Triplenet Pricing Inc. for instructions on how to obtain a refund.
