==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the Health Canada, the recalled Nightgowns fail to meet the Canadian Flammability Standards for Children’s Sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children who utilize the product in a reasonable manner expected with its intended design and anticipated use.

Children’s sleepwear sold in Canada must meet strict flammability requirements that improve safety, significantly higher than those for children’s day-wear. You can read more about these requirements at Health Canada’s Web site concerning children’s sleepwear safety here: https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/services/safe-sleep/children-sleepwear.html.

In general, loose-fitting children’s sleepwear can contact ignition sources such as stove elements, candles, and matches more readily than tight-fitting sleepwear, and once ignited will burn rapidly, potentially resulting in severe burns to large areas of the child’s body.

As a consequence, if you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Children’s Nightgowns, please take the recalled Nightgowns away from the child’s wardrobe and restrict access to them. Instead, kindly return the product to the online store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly burns, smoke inhalation and/or respiratory collapse.
