According to the ACCC, Kaisi (Australia) has recalled certain batch/lots of Rice Ball Snacks – Yoghurt Strawberry Flavour from the Australian marketplace due to suspected component detachment and consequential release of “button” batteries. As a direct result of this suspected defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Rice Ball Snacks identified above.

In this case, the batteries also pose a serious risk of internal burns.

==> Small “button” batteries pose special ingestion risks to small children. Devices using them in the home or school should be closely examined and monitored for any breakage or other unintended access that could allow these batteries to be swallowed or otherwise ingested.

Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Kaisi Rice Ball Snacks, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
