US/Bethesda: DeWALT Industrial Tool Company, a Towson, Maryland establishment, recalls an estimated 8,500 DeWALT DWCS600 18-inch Corded Chain Saws from the American marketplace due to suspected Power Switch malfunction, failure to shut off the Saw regardless of the position of the ON/OFF switch and consequential risks of laceration, amputation, bone fracture, traumatic brain injury (“TBI” or “concussion”) and/or central nervous system (“CNS”) injury, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
