US/Washington: Interstate Meat Dist. Inc., a Clackamas, Oregon establishment, recalls an estimated 28,356 pounds of Albertsons, Kroger, Walmart and WinCo branded Ground Beef products from the American marketplace due to suspected Escherichia coli O157:H7 (“E.coli” O157:H7) contamination and consequential risks of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury or death.
