Australia FlagAustralia/Canberra: ALDI Stores, a Prestons, New South Wales establishment and subsidiary of German food conglomerate ALDI Süd recalls certain batch/lots of Snackers Market Little Pickers Cubed Tasty Cheese & Mini Crackers and Snackers Market Little Pickers Cubed Tasty Cheese & Pretzels from the Australian marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consequential risks of Gram-positive bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health hazards and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-changing injury.

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Snackers Market Little Pickers Cheese Snack packages are subject to this recall:

  • Snackers Market Little Pickers Cubed Tasty Cheese & Mini Crackers, sold in 35 gram packages; affected batch/lots: all packages with a use-by date prior to 03.02.22 with an APN/barcode of 4088700070185
  • Snackers Market Little Pickers Cubed Tasty Cheese & Pretzels, sold in 40 gram packages; affected batch/lots: all packages with a use-by date prior to 03.02.22 with an APN/barcode of 4088700070208

==> No item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

These Snackers Market Little Pickers Cubed Tasty Cheese Snack packages were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in the Australian states and regions of Australian Capital Territory (“ACT”), New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia although it is always possible these food products had wider distribution within the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

According to the ACCC, Manassen Foods Australia has recalled certain batch/lots of Snackers Market Little Pickers Cubed Tasty Cheese Snack Snack packages from the Australian marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination. As a direct result of this suspected defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Cheese Snack packages identified above.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Snackers Market Little Pickers Cubed Tasty Cheese Snack packages, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
