Taylor Farms, a Salinas, California establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Taylor Farms Mushroom Stir Fry Kits from the American marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination and consequential risks of Gram-positive bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-altering injury.

The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Stir Fry Kits are subject to this recall:
- Taylor Farms Mushroom Stir Fry Kits, packaged in 9-ounce cello bags
==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.
These Stir Fry Kits were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in Kroger Stores located in Georgia; South Carolina; Auburn, Alabama, Greater Louisville area (including Indiana) and Lexington, Kentucky; Greater Memphis area, Tennessee; Arkansas; Mississippi; Western Kentucky; Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee, although it is always possible these food products had wider distribution within the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.
According to the FDA, Taylor Farms, a Salinas, California establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Taylor Farms Mushroom Stir Fry Kits from the American marketplace due to suspected Listeria monocytogenes contamination. As a result of this reported defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Stir Fry Kits identified above.
Please note: while these food products may be close to or past their use-by dates, they may be in your freezers or storage chillers. If you have purchased these products during the time period ranging from October 1, 2021 and November 8, 2021, please check your refrigerators, chillers and/or freezers to ensure these food products have not been stored for future consumption. If found, these products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase for refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Taylor Farms Mushroom Stir Fry Kits, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Stir Fry Kits to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat bacterial poisonings such as Listeriosis.
