Canada FlagCanada/Ottawa: allSpices Food, an Ottawa, Ontario establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of allSpices Food branded Sauce Ging-Hab spice products from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected container integrity defects and consequential risks of spoilage, bacterial and/or viral infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health and safety hazards requiring immediate medical intervention to minimize pain and suffering as well as prevent life-changing injury.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (“CFIA”) reports the following Spice Sauce products are subject to this recall:

  • allSpices Food Sauce Ging-Hab, sold in 250 ml glass bottles with a best-before date of July 2022 and a UPC of 6 27987 39550 1

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

==> No manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

These Spice Sauce products were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec although it is always possible these food products had wider distribution within the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

According to the CFIA, allSpices Food has recalled certain batch/lots of allSpices Food branded Sauce Ging-Hab spice products from the Canadian marketplace due to suspected container integrity defects. As a result of this reported defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Spice Sauce products identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Sauce Ging-Hab, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat bacterial and/or viral poisonings such as Botulism, Listeriosis and/or Salmonellosis.
