When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.
Please consult the photograph above for details of the beverages’ packaging, design and retail presentation.
According to the ACCC, The Trustee for The Sabrands Australia Management Trust, trading as Devondale Apple Juice Co Pty Ltd., recalls certain batch/lots of Devondale 100% Sparkling Apple Juice products from the Australian marketplace due to suspected glass fragment contamination. As a result of these reported defects and risks, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Sparkling Apple Juice products identified above.
In general, if glass, plastic or metal fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, cause intestinal perforation or serious infection and possibly require surgical intervention for their safe removal.
Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Devondale 100% Sparkling Apple Juice products, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Apple Juice products identified above.
==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 0-0-0, your closest hospital or emergency centre equipped to properly treat choking, oral injury, internal ingestion, GI tract laceration damage and bowel obstruction.
