The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Chocolate Milk products are subject to this recall:

  • Green Field Farms Dairy Whole Chocolate Milk, packaged with an expiration date of 9/29/21

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

These Green Field Farms Dairy Whole Chocolate Milk products were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in the US states of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Delaware and Washington DC although it is always possible these food products had wider distribution within the country. According to the FDA, Green Field Farms Dairy has recallsed an estimated 1,242 bottles of Whole Chocolate Milk products, from the American marketplace due to suspected incomplete pasteurization and consequential risks of bacterial infection and/or viral infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications. As a result of this reported defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Milk products identified above.

Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Chocolate Milk products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Milk to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
