US FlagUS/Silver Spring: Jimbo’s Kitchen, doing business as New England Cupboard, a Hermon, Maine establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Jimbo’s Bloody Mary Mix products from the American marketplace due to undeclared Soy, Sulfites and Wheat, all known allergens, sources of dietary intolerance and possible triggers of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

Additional information:
The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Bloody Mary Mix products are subject to this recall:

  • Jimbo’s Bloody Mary Mixes, packaged in 4″ by 6″ stand-up plastic resealable pouches manufactured from 8/23/2019 to 8/23/2021 with a UPC of 7 87562 00099 9

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. One (1) additional image of the recalled Bloody Mary Mixes can be found on the Web site above.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

These Jimbo’s Bloody Mary Mix were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in the US states of ME, NH, VT, MA, MD and MN although it is always possible these food products had wider distribution within the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

According to the FDA, Jimbo’s Kitchen, doing business as New England Cupboard, a Hermon, Maine establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Jimbo’s Bloody Mary Mix products from the American marketplace due to undeclared Soy, Sulfites and Wheat.

Proposed Remedy:
If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Jimbo’s Bloody Mary Mixes and could be allergic to their Soy, Sulfites and/or Wheat ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Jimbo’s Bloody Mary Mixes, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Mixes to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat Anaphylaxis.
