NHTSA Safety Notification 21V478000 reports the bonding between the Carbon-Fiber Driveshaft and the Flange may be insufficient, which could result in Driveshaft separation.

According to the NHTSA, a separated Driveshaft may cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash, motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) or other impact event with consequential serious injury and/or life-changing results.
