US FlagUS/Silver Spring: Bea Lydecker’s Naturals, Inc. an Oregon City, Oregon establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of six (6) Living Free branded Dietary Supplement drug products from the American marketplace due to improperly declared Soy Lecithin, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Dietary Supplement products are subject to this recall:

  • Living Free Adult Extra Vitamin Supplements, 100 capsules packaged in white HDPE plastic bottles with a threaded HDPE caps
  • Living Free Adult Extra Vitamin Supplements, 500 capsules packaged in white HDPE plastic bottles with a threaded HDPE caps
  • Living Free Heart/Blood Vessel Supplements, 100 capsules packaged in white HDPE plastic bottles with a threaded HDPE caps
  • Living Free Heart/Blood Vessel Supplements, 500 capsules packaged in white HDPE plastic bottles with a threaded HDPE caps
  • Living Free Immune Supplements, 100 capsules packaged in white HDPE plastic bottles with a threaded HDPE caps
  • Living Free Immune Supplements, 500 capsules packaged in white HDPE plastic bottles with a threaded HDPE caps
  • Living Free Lung & Joint Congestion Supplements, 100 capsules packaged in white HDPE plastic bottles with a threaded HDPE caps
  • Living Free Lung & Joint Congestion Supplements, 500 capsules packaged in white HDPE plastic bottles with a threaded HDPE caps
  • Living Free Nerve & Muscle Herbal Supplements, 100 capsules packaged in white HDPE plastic bottles with a threaded HDPE caps
  • Living Free Nerve & Muscle Herbal Supplements, 500 capsules packaged in white HDPE plastic bottles with a threaded HDPE caps
  • Living Free Nerve & Muscle Plus Cetyl-Myristoleate Supplements, 180 capsules packaged in white HDPE plastic bottles with a threaded HDPE caps
  • Living Free Nerve & Muscle Plus Cetyl-Myristoleate Supplements, 500 capsules packaged in white HDPE plastic bottles with a threaded HDPE caps

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

These Living Free branded Dietary Supplements were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in US retailers, wholesalers and some practitioners nationwide as well as from the company’s Web site at http://www.bealydecker.com between June 2019 and June 17, 2021 although it is always possible these drug products had wider distribution within the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

According to the FDA, Bea Lydecker’s Naturals has recalled certain batch/lots of six (6) Living Free branded Dietary Supplement products from the American marketplace due to improperly declared Soy Lecithin. Specifically, the recalled drugs contain Soy Lecithin but their product labels declare only Lecithin. This defect could lead someone with an allergy to Soy consuming the product and suffering potentially serious health consequences.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Dietary Supplement drugs and could be allergic to their Soy ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat Anaphylaxis.
