UK FlagUK/London: Morrisons Limited, a Swindon, Wiltshire establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Morrisons branded Iced Buns baked goods from the British marketplace due to improperly declared Milk, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Iced Bun products are subject to recall:

  • Morrisons Iced Buns, processed baked goods marketed, sold and delivered in packages of six (6) individual buns packaged in clear plastic clamshells with a clear plastic lid; affected best-before dates: all current dates

==> No barcodes, EANs, UPCs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, Morrisons has recalling Morrisons 6 Iced Buns because they contain Milk, an allergen not properly emphasized in bold type on the label as required by UK regulation. If this defect occurs, it means this product contains improperly declared Milk, making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to Milk or Milk constituents.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Morrisons branded Iced Buns and could be allergic to their Milk ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-9-9, your closest hospital A&E or emergency centre equipped to properly Anaphylaxis.
