UK FlagUK/London: Tesco PLC (“Tesco”), a Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Tesco Mini Breadsticks from the British marketplace due to suspected mislabeling/mispackaging and consequential undeclared Sesame, both/all known allergens, sources of dietary intolerance and possible triggers of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Breadsticks are subject to recall:

  • Tesco Mini Breadsticks, processed bread products, sold, marketed and delivered in six (6) by 20 gram individual packages of 120 grams with batch codes or U3032, U3033, U3041, U3042, U3043, U3051, U3052 or U3053 and a best-before end date of October 2021

==> No barcodes, EANs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, Tesco PLC has recalled certain batch/lots of Tesco Mini Breadsticks from the British marketplace due to suspected mislabeling/mispackaging and consequential undeclared Sesame. ==> For information about Soy Allergy, please consult the “Allergens & Intolerances” tab on this site, located at the top of this page.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Tesco Mini Breadsticks and could be allergic to their Soy ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-9-9, your closest hospital A&E or emergency centre equipped to properly treat Anaphylaxis.
