Australia FlagAustralia/Canberra: Byron Bay Pizza Co. Pty Ltd ATF Ross Family Trust, a Byron Bay, Queensland establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Byron Bay Pizza Co. BBQ Birdie Frozen Pizza from the Australian marketplace due to undeclared Fish, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Pizza products are subject to this recall:

  • Byron Bay Pizza Co BBQ Birdie Frozen Pizza, a food product marketed, sold and delivered in 500 gram packages; affected batch/lots: all best-before dates up to and including 02/07/2021 with an APN/EAN of 9349472000073

==> No item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

These Pizza products were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in the Australian states of New South Wales and Queensland although it is always possible these food products had wider distribution within the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

According to the ACCC, Byron Bay Pizza Co Pty has recalled certain batch/lots of Byron Bay BBQ Birdie Frozen Pizza from the Australian marketplace due to undeclared Fish.
