US FlagUS/Silver Spring: Blount Fine Foods, a Fall River, Massachusetts establishment, recalls an estimated 2,987 cases of Panera at Home branded Lobster Bisque Cups from the American marketplace due to undeclared Egg, a known allergen, source of dietary intolerance and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal situation, requiring immediate medical intervention.

The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Lobster Bisque Cups are subject to this recall:

  • Panera at Home Lobster Bisque, marketed, sold and delivered in 16-ounce cups with a batch/lot number of 030821-11K and use-by date of 5/17/2021

==> No barcodes, UPCs, NDCs, DINs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

These Panera at Home Lobster Bisque Cups were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in the deli departments of various grocery-retail stores located in the US states of CA, CO, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MD, MI, MO, NC, NE, NJ, OK, OR, PA, TX, VA, WA and WI although it is always possible these food products had wider distribution outside the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

According to the FDA, Blount Fine Foods has recalled an estimated 2,987 cases of Panera at Home Lobster Bisque Cups from the American marketplace due to undeclared Egg.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of these recalled Panera at Home Lobster Bisque products and could be allergic to their Egg ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.
