UK FlagIreland FlagUK/London & Ireland/Dublin: Dunnes Stores, a London, England and Dublin, Ireland establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Dunnes Stores Irish Turkey Breast products with Prime Wings from the British and Irish marketplaces due to suspected incorrect weight declarations and cooking instructions with consequential risks of inadequate cooking by consumers and bacterial and/or viral infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health hazards.

The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Turkey products are subject to recall:

  • Dunnes Stores Irish Turkey Breast with Prime Wings, sold in 1.5 kilogram packages with a use-by date code of 05 April 2021

==> No barcodes, EANs, NDCs, DINs, UPCs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the FSA, Dunnes Stores has recalled certain batch/lots of Dunnes Stores Irish Turkey Breast with Prime Wings from the British and Irish marketplace due to suspected incorrect weight declarations and cooking instructions. As a direct result of this suspected defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Poultry products identified above.

==> For information about E. Coli Poisoning, Listeriosis (Listeria poisoning) and/or Salmonellosis (Salmonella poisoning), please consult the “Illnesses” tab on this site, located at the top of this page.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Turkey Breast products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Poultry to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

Please note: while these food products may be close to or past their use-by dates, they may be in your freezers or storage chillers. If you have purchased any of these products on dates ranging from 5 March, 2021 to 5 April, 2021, please check your refrigerators, chillers and/or freezers to ensure these Turkey products have not been stored for future consumption. If found, these products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase for refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-9-9 or 1-1-2, your closest hospital A&E or emergency centre equipped to properly treat bacterial poisonings.
