UK FlagUK/London: Dealicious Mealz Ltd., a Cheadle, Cheshire establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Meat Seekh Kebab and Chicken Seekh Kebab products from the British marketplace due to suspected production in an unapproved establishment and consequential risks of bacterial and/or viral contamination, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health hazards.

The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Seekh Kebab products are subject to recall:

  • Dealicious Mealz Meat Seekh Kebab, sold in one (1) kilogram packages consisting of eighteen (18) pieces; affected batch/lots: all dates from 7 January 2021 to 24 February 2022
  • Dealicious Mealz Chicken Seekh Kebab, sold in one (1) kilogram packages consisting of eighteen (18) pieces; affected batch/lots: all dates from 7 January 2021 to 24 February 2022

==> No barcodes, EANs, UPCs, item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, Dealicious Mealz has recalled certain batch/lots of Meat Seekh Kebab and Chicken Seekh Kebab products from the British marketplace due to suspected production in an unapproved establishment. As a direct result of this suspected defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Seekh Kebab products identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Meat Seekh Kebabs and/or Chicken Seekh Kebabs, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Kebabs to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

Please note: while these food products may be close to or past their use-by dates, they may be in your freezers or storage chillers. If you have purchased these products between 1 January, 2021 and 1 March, 2021, please check your refrigerators, chillers and/or freezers to ensure these food products have not been stored for future consumption. If found, these products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase for refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-9-9, your closest hospital A&E or emergency centre equipped to properly treat bacterial poisonings.
