According to the FSA, SFC has recalled additional SFC Chicken Poppets and Take-Home Boneless Bucket because Salmonella has been found in the products. Batch codes starting with an “L” are displayed on the inner packaging inside the box. This update extends an earlier recall of SFC Chicken Poppets to include all batch/lot codes for the products with best-before dates of 24 September, 2021 and 31 October, 2021. As a direct result of this suspected defect, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Chicken products identified above.

==> For information about Salmonellosis (Salmonella poisoning), please consult the “Illnesses” tab on this site, located at the top of this page.

If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled process Chicken Popper products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation.
