Australia FlagAustralia/Canberra: Kenilworth Dairies, a Kenilworth, Queensland establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Kenilworth Dairies Full Cream Milk from the Australian marketplace due to suspected Escherichia coli (“E.coli”) contamination and consequential risks of Gram-negative bacterial infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health hazards.

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Full Cream Milk are subject to this recall:

  • Kenilworth Dairies Full Cream Milk, sold in 1L plastic bottles with a best-before code of 15/03/21, a production date of 01/03/2021 and a UPC of 9314957010205
  • Kenilworth Dairies Full Cream Milk, sold in 2L plastic bottles with a best-before code of 15/03/21, a production date of 01/03/2021 and a UPC of 9314957010212
  • Kenilworth Dairies Full Cream Milk, sold in 3L plastic bottles with a best-before code of 15/03/21, a production date of 01/03/2021 and a UPC of 9314957010229

==> No NDCs, DINs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

These Full Cream Milk products were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in Independent grocers and Kenilworth Dairies Cafe in Queensland although it is always possible these food products had wider distribution within the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

According to the ACCC, Kenilworth Dairies has recalled certain batch/lots of Kenilworth Dairies Full Cream Milk from the Australian marketplace due to suspected Escherichia coli (“E.coli”) contamination. You should neither serve nor consume the recalled Full Cream Milk identified above. As a result of these reported defects and risks, you should neither serve nor consume the recalled Milk products identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Kenilworth Dairies Full Cream Milk, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 0-0-0, your closest hospital or emergency centre equipped to properly treat bacterial poisonings such as E. Coli Poisoning.
