Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves certain Anker Play Products 10-in-1 Incredible Inventions Children’s Science Kits, as follows:

  • The Children’s Science Kits contain a red and blue painted rectangular Bar Magnet, two (2) Yellow Balloons, a small Light Bulb, Metal Clips, Paper Clips, a Sticker Page, three (3) red coated Wires and various other Wires, Screws and small Mechanical Parts. The “Adventure Club” logo is printed in yellow, blue and green on the bottom left on the front of the box. The affected Magnet is painted red and blue and measures approximately 2 inches by 0.5 inches by 0.375 inches.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

==> No item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, paint on the red and blue Magnet contains levels of lead that exceed the levels allowed under the Federal Lead Paint Ban. Lead is toxic if ingested, particularly if ingested by young infants and children, and can cause serious and life-changing health issues, including reproductive damage and intellectual impairment when utilizing the product in a reasonable manner expected with its intended use.

In addition, the product packaging lacks the required warning labels for Magnets and Balloons so parents and other caregivers can properly assess usage risks and supervisory responsibilities for this children play set..

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Anker Play Products 10-in-1 Incredible Inventions Children’s Science Kits, please do not use them or allow your child to play with or near the Kits. Instead, kindly take the Kit’s red and blue Magnet away from your child and contact Anker Play Products to receive a full refund using the information provided below.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat Lead poisoning or long-term ingestion and/or exposure.
