Among the forty (40) recalls the NHTSA announced in January 2021, came news of the following:

Logo - Keystone RV CompanyKeystone RV Company, a Goshen, Indiana establishment and a subsidiary of Thor Industries of Elkhart, Indiana, has recalled an estimated 207 model year 2020-2021 Dutchmen Voltage 3001, 3351, 3521, 3531, 3551, 3571, 3951 and 4271 Recreational Trailers marketed, sold and delivered in the United States.

Recall Category: Tires, Equipment – Incorrect Federal Identification Tag/Part 567

NHTSA Safety Notification 21V021000 reports the Federal Identification Tag incorrectly lists the recommended tire pressure as 110 PSI, instead of the correct tire pressure of 95 PSI. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, “Certification”.

According to the NHTSA, incorrect PSI information could cause the tires to be overinflated, and increase the risk of a crash, motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) or other impact event with consequential serious injury and/or life-changing results.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 9-1-1, your closest hospital or emergency center equipped to properly treat lacerations, concussions, bone fractures, amputation, central nervous system (“CNS”) damage and/or internal injuries.

Please note that under 49 United States Code § 30112(a), it is illegal for anyone, including a manufacturer, distributor, dealer or retailer to sell an item of equipment or vehicle that fails to comply with all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards.
