Oceanic Sea Breeze Dried Cannabis Recall [Canada]

Canada/Ottawa: Delta 9 Bio-Tech Inc., a Winnipeg, Manitoba establishment, recalls an estimated 600 units of Oceanic Sea Breeze Dried Cannabis from the Canadian marketplace due to reported incorrect packaging with an inaccurate THC value and consequential risks of THC impairment, decreased ability to operate machines and disorientation, all serious health and safety hazards.

Health Canada/Santé Canada (“HCSC”) reports the following Dried Cannabis products are subject to this recall:

  • The incorrect label is marked as follows: Oceanic Sea Breeze Dried Cannabis, sold in 3.5 gram containers with a THC value of 0.19%, a total THC value of 20.77%, a CBD value of <0.01% and a total CBD value of 0.07%
    .
  • The correct label should state the following: Oceanic Sea Breeze Dried Cannabis, sold in 3.5 gram containers with a THC value of 0.20%, a total THC value of 16.27%, a CBD value of <0.01% and a total CBD value of 0.05%

==> No barcodes, UPCs, NDCs, DINs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to Health Canada, the labels affixed to the recalled Cannabis products do not reportedly include the correct Cannabinoid values for THC.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Delta 9 Bio-Tech Oceanic Sea Breeze Dried Cannabis products, please do not use them. Instead, contact the retail store where your product was purchased. For additional information, please contact Delta 9 Bio-Tech using the information below.
