Australia FlagAustralia/Canberra: Monde Nissin Australia Pty Ltd trading as Nudie Foods, a Mulgrave, Victoria establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Nudie Nothing But 2 Apple Drinks from the Australian marketplace due to suspected Mycotoxin – Patulin contamination and consequential risks of systemic toxicity, organ damage and death, all serious health hazards.

Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Apple Drink products are subject to this recall:

  • Nudie Nothing But 2 Apples Drinks, marketed and sold in 200 mL Tetra Pak boxes with a best-before date of 18-June 21 and an APN/EAN 9332991002130

==> No item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

The recalled Apple Drink products were known to be marketed, distributed and sold in the Australian states of Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia although it is always possible these food products had wider distribution within the country. When in doubt, please contact the manufacturer for specific product information.

According to the ACCC, Nudie Foods has recalled certain batch/lots of Nudie Nothing But 2 Apples Drink products from the Australian marketplace due to suspected Mycotoxin – Patulin contamination. You should neither serve nor consume the recalled Apple Drink products identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Apple Drink products, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
