US FlagUS/Washington: Graco Children’s Products Inc., an Atlanta, Georgia establishment, recalls an estimated 51,000 Graco branded Inclined Sleeper Accessories included with the Graco Pack ‘n Play Day2Dream Playard with Bedside Sleeper, Graco Pack ‘n Play Nuzzle Nest Playard, Graco Pack ‘n Play Everest Playard and Graco Pack ‘n Play Rock ‘n Grow Playards from the American marketplace due to suspected failure to secure the infant and consequential risks of choking, asphyxiation and death, all serious health and safety hazards.

Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves Inclined Sleeper Accessories for Infants sold with the Graco Pack ‘n Play Day2Dream Playards with Bedside Sleepers, Graco Pack ‘n Play Nuzzle Nest Playards, Graco Pack ‘n Play Everest Playards and Graco Pack ‘n Play Rock ‘n Grow Playards, as follows:

  • Graco Pack ‘n Play Day2Dream Playard & Bedside Sleepers, sold with a model number of 2034085, 2048753 or 2053215
  • Graco Pack ‘n Play Nuzzle Nest Playards, sold with a model number of 1947177 or 1896392
  • Graco Pack ‘n Play Everest Playards, sold with a model number of 1946902 or 1946903
  • Graco Pack ‘n Play Rock ‘n Grow Playards, sold with a model number of 2105055

The specific model numbers can be found located on a label affixed to the underside of the Playard on one of the support tubes. The Inclined Sleeper Accessory is the only portion of these products that is being recalled. Graco maintains that parents and other caregivers can continue to use the Playard, Changing Station and Bassinet portions of its products without the Inclined Sleeper Accessory according to the products Owner’s Manual.

==> No barcodes, UPCs, item numbers, best-before date codes, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the CPSC, infant fatalities have been reported with other manufacturers’ Inclined Sleep Products after infants rolled from their back to their stomach or side while unrestrained, or under other circumstances.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Graco Pack ‘n Play Day2Dream Playards with Bedside Sleeper, Graco Pack ‘n Play Nuzzle Nest Playards, Graco Pack ‘n Play Everest Playards and/or Graco Pack ‘n Play Rock ‘n Grow Playards, please do not use them nor use them for child. Instead, kindly contact Graco for a refund for the Accessory. As stated above, the company maintains you can continue to use the Playard portion of the product and other accessories included with the Playard.
