Australia FlagAustralia/Canberra: Valentine & Co. recalls certain batch/lots of Valentine & Co. Sol branded Rattan Infant Cots from the Australian marketplace due to suspected failure to comply with Australia’s mandatory standard ‘Trade Practices Act 1974 – Consumer Protection Notice No. 6 of 2005 – Consumer Product Safety Standard for Children’s Household Cots’. Specifically, the recalled Infant Cots do not meet the standard requirements of allowable gaps in the middle loop where the rattan is tied together with consequential risks of child entrapment and/or amputation, all serious safety hazards.
