According to the ACCC, Woolworths Group has recalled certain batch/lots of in-store baked Bakery Bread products from the Australian marketplace known to have been sold at the Woolworths Calwell Supermarket due to suspected glass fragment contamination. You should neither serve nor consume the recalled Breads, Rolls and Buns identified above.

In general, if glass or metal fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, cause intestinal perforation or serious infection and possibly require surgical intervention for their safe removal.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household rubbish, making sure small children and pets can’t access the suspect food.

==> If you have a medical emergency, please contact 0-0-0, your closest hospital or emergency centre equipped to properly treat choking, oral injury, internal ingestion, GI tract laceration damage and bowel obstruction.
