UK FlagUK/London: Soho Florids UK Ltd, a Wigan, Lancashire establishment, recalls certain batch/lots of Potter’s Herbals branded Malt Extract with Cod Liver Oil from the British marketplace due to suspected Mould contamination and consequential risks of infection, severe illness and/or possible life-changing complications, all serious health hazards.

The UK Food Standards Agency (“FSA”) reports the following Malt Extract products are subject to recall:

  • Potter’s Herbals branded Malt Extract with Cod Liver Oil, sold in 650 gram bottles with a batch/lot code of 3M01134, 3M01136 or 3M01137 and a best-before date of 31 January 2023

==> No barcodes, EANs, UPCs, item numbers, manufacturing date codes, production dates, expiry dates, regulatory approval designations, registration numbers, agency approval designations or other identification numbers were listed with this recall notification.

According to the FSA, Soho Florids UK has recalled certain batch/lots of Potter’s Herbals branded Malt Extract with Cod Liver Oil from the British marketplace due to suspected Mould contamination. You should neither serve nor consume the recalled Malt Extract products identified above.

==> Never depend on your senses of sight, smell, taste or touch to confirm food poisoning, adulteration or contamination. If in doubt about the safety of any food, return it to your retailer for refund or toss it out in your household garbage, making sure neither small children nor household pets can access the suspect food.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession any of the recalled Potter’s Herbals branded Malt Extract with Cod Liver Oil, please do not consume them directly nor use them as an ingredient in another dish or preparation. Instead, return the Malt Extract to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
